Lakewood D-1M

Here is a picture of an acoustic guitar I recently purchased. It is a Lakewood D-1M, solid mahogany, dreadnaught. Lakewood is a German company with a reputation for making excellent acoustic guitars. The D-1M is a limited edition, with only 100 being produced. Looks and sounds like a Martin D15. This thing simply resonates. Just the sound from people's voices makes the body on this guitar come alive. I will soon have it eqipped with the Pick Up The World Pickup System. Supposedly, this pickup system produces a remarkably transparent reproduction of the true guitar sound.
