When submitting your own exercises, do not upload a Powertab file (the .ptb extension). A Powertab file is not an image file. You need to either export the tab to text (in File->Export->ASCII File), or you need to manually create an image file. For instance, with my exercises, I copy each tab section (using Section->Output As Bitmap->To clipboard), and then combine them in an image editor.
The last couple times people have uploaded Powertab files, I have gone ahead and created a proper image or text file. But I can't keep doing this.

MusEdit is a great guitar notation program that exports .png files that are very easy to edit and post. MusEdit is available from http://www.MusEdit.com .

Hey - if you have "BB Code" enabled in your profile then you can post nice-looking text TAB like this:
(I find it easier to make this TAB in NotePad and then copy and paste it to the reply window on the forum.)
The BB Code uses brackets like this "[ ]" to frame a bit of BB code.
So if I write it exactly as you will type it, it won't show up here, because the forum software will read it as code... so I have to describe it:
Type the left bracket [ , then type the word "code" and then the right bracket ].
Then type your TAB. (I do this in NotePad with the font set on Courier or Lucida monospace font so I can see what I'm doing. )
After you're done, type the left bracket [ , then a forward slash / and the word "code" and then the right bracket ] .
