Hey All, so heres a question for you. Im a lead guitar in a band and i gotta ask what would be the best way to make my solos louder during live performances just for that breif amount of time? My rythm guitarist has a louder cab then me and has e.m.g.s, so his sound is prestine. Ive explored new pickups but since im broke right now so im holding off on that. I was thinking about that Zakk wylde mxr pedal cause i heard that increases volume but i just dont know...ive also tried a Boss Eq pedal but that just killed my sound horribly. I use a cry baby from hell which has a volume increase in it and it helps a little so ive been heavily using that but i dont wanna have be by that s.o.b all the damn time and its WAAAYYY to trebly for my liking to leave it on while ripping it up. I was also looking into that BossGT8 pedal processor does that have anything that can help some??

My amps just so happen to have the ability to switch between rhythm and lead volume so I am not too familiar with other methods...
