What sort of picking technique do you use? What do you think is best to reduce noise? Some players find noise attractive, but I tend to lean towards not having any noise at all. Can anyone tell me what causes pic noise/what I can do to reduce it? Thanks.

If you are in to fast double picking, holding the pick at a slight angle will help reduce some of the twangin noise of the strings, plus keep the pick as close to the strings as posible for better acuracy.
