Hello, great site you have. I have a question about the 7 diatonic modes section though. Maybe I'm missing something, but what key are those modes in?  And I'd also like to know - how do I play those modes in different keys - just move the patterns up and down the neck, or is there more to it? |

Hi,
Those are all in G Major. And switching keys is just a matter of shifting the patterns up and down.

Thanks. So, let's say I wanted to play all the modes in A
A major would be:

, the Dorian would be:

and so forth? |
