Introduction, Brian Huether Author email
.: Publication date 06-Sep-2003 :: Reads: 9890 :: Print current page :: Print all:.

I often receive emails from people asking what kind of equipment I use to get my recording results (presumably because I get good results...). So I have decided to write a comprehensive tutorial on the subject of recording. The tutorial will cover computer-based recording, since that is the only recording method that I am experienced with. In that sense, you will need to think of software as equipment!

In this multi-part tutorial, I cover all steps of the recording process, from the hardware needed to get sound onto the computer, to the final step of burning a cd or creating an mp3 sound file.
